Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life services, has been selected as the food services partner of INSEAD (Asia Campus) after a competitive pitch against both local and overseas vendors. Services will begin in August 2018.

Executive dining and event catering are key deliverables for INSEAD, one of the world’s top graduate business schools. On its Asia Campus in Singapore, Sodexo will serve 500 students, 100 executive participants and 350 faculty and staff each day.

Unlike most tertiary institutions, the INSEAD cohort consists of senior business leaders, top-performing executives and high-achieving graduates and postgraduates from over 100 countries across all continents. Their dynamic, fast-paced semesters at INSEAD call for quality food options and conducive networking environments.

Offering homemade pastries, handcrafted beverages, sharing plates and more, the four food and beverage outlets on campus and near student residences fit naturally into the dynamic learning journey at INSEAD.

Rise and shine: Students can sip their morning brew while planning their day at the Grind & Brew coffee shop. Various seating zones allow for networking, individual think time and collaboration.

Lunchtime: The central dining hall, In The Hub serves up freshly cooked dishes at vibrant food stations. In the pipeline is a mobile application that allows students to pre-order their food and “grab and go” from a temperature-controlled cabinet. For a more exclusive experience, diners may conduct business lunches at In The Grove, an executive dining restaurant boasting high-quality dishes, wines and a virtual concierge.

After hours: Grind & Brew transforms into a wind-down destination with live entertainment and a foosball table. Students may also network and relax at The Insiders Den with a premium selection of cocktails and curated food menu.

The contractual win is also an affirming nod to Sodexo’s gastronomic prowess. In Paris, Sodexo runs the iconic Michelin-starred restaurants, Le Pré Catelan and Le Jules Verne. Sodexo is also the appointed food services provider for Cathay Pacific’s business and first class lounges at the Hong Kong International Airport.

Laurent Hochet, Segment director, Schools & Universities, South East Asia, said:
“Our diverse consumers at INSEAD lead busy days and flit from lessons to project meetings and work commitments, requiring thoughtful dining options to suit their unique needs. To that end, we are able to provide a wide variety of premium offerings and well-designed spaces, thanks to our top-notch chefs and staff. We are privileged to work with INSEAD in Singapore and look forward to a wonderful partnership.”
