Sodexo, the global leader in Quality of Life Services, and NTU, the world’s top young university (ranked 13th globally), has announced the opening of a restaurant and bar at the new NTU Alumni House at Marina Square. Sodexo is tapping on its extensive experience with over 5,000 educational institutions globally to deliver quality of life to the NTU alumni community.

Colm O'Mahony, CEO Education APAC, Sodexo, said:
"Sodexo is delighted to partner with NTU in creating a vibrant and exciting new retreat for the alumni. We look forward to serving new and bold flavours from around the globe."

Opening on 1 November 2016, the NTU Alumni House can comfortably host over 200 diners. Located right in the heart of the city, it is well-fitted for a range of occasions, from business discussions, family functions to intimate gatherings.

Prof Lee Sing Kong, NTU’s Vice-President for Alumni and Advancement, said,
"With its wide global network of chefs, Sodexo will add immense value to NTU's Alumni House at Marina Square, which is part of our continuous effort to connect with our alumni community. We expect that the Alumni House at Marina Square place will be ideal for business meetings during the week and in the evenings; and over weekends, for alumni, their families and friends to get together for good food and conversation."

Sodexo leveraged on its global expertise to understand the diverse demographics of the NTU alumni. The bespoke restaurant and bar was conceptualised to suit the interests of the alumni, while keeping up with the latest market trends.

Thematic promotions will be a mainstay of the facilities, complementing the extensive menu that features both familiar local dishes and international signatures. Reflecting the cosmopolitan outlook of the Alumni House, the restaurant will periodically host top chefs from Sodexo’s Global Chef Programme to share their native cuisine and culture.

Coupled with an array of artisanal cocktails that will be specially crafted for the alumni, patrons can relax to local talents playing a selection of memorable local tunes, international classics and top 40s over at the bar.

The NTU Alumni House at Marina Square is one of three new Alumni Houses which will serve NTU’s 200,000-strong alumni. Sodexo’s partnership with NTU marks an expansion of its footprint in the education segment.
