And with Sodexo’s online meal ordering system, we allow parents with younger children to have visibility and control over what their kids eat in school. It also means children get more time to eat, play or rest.

It’s important to support communities with hiring, purchasing and investing in local environmental solutions and sustainable sourcing. In 2016, Sodexo was the provider in Singapore to switch to using certified sustainable palm oil on all sites. We also work with faculty and students (such as the community at United World College) to drive green initiatives as part of holistic education.

On school grounds, we implement WasteWatch, powered by technology and active student participation to generate dramatic reductions in food waste from the kitchen to the dining hall.
